Congratulations to these United Way Partners!

  • Community Partner with the Biggest Heart: Given to the agency that went above and beyond to make a difference though United Way, by going to as many United Way events and speaking engagements as possible, upholding the United Way Best Practices, and being an advocate for The United Way of Central Arkansas. Recipients of this award are chosen by the United Way Board of Trustees for their commitment to making an impact in the community in one or more of United Way focus areas of education, income and health; Milestones

  • Business Partner with the Biggest Heart:  Given to the local business that has provided crucial support to the United Way of Central Arkansas in its efforts to raise funds and awareness about the issues facing our community. This business is nominated by the UWCARK staff and chosen by the Board of Trustees; Conway Corporation

  • Campaign Coordinator with the Biggest Heart:  The employee campaign coordinator is really the hero and fuel behind the success of any campaign. Their passion, voice, organizational, skills and work behind the scenes make the workplace campaign a success. The coordinator of the year award is given to the person or persons who best exemplify the spirit of what it means to LIVE UNITED; Candy Jones- City of Conway

  • School District with the Biggest Heart:  Given to the school district that showed the highest participation rate during the campaign year and also showed an improvement in total dollars raised; Conway Public School District

  • College Campus with the Biggest Heart: Given to the college campus that showed the highest participation rate during the campaign year and also showed an improvement in total dollars raised; University of Central Arkansas
  • President's Award:  Selected by United Way of Central Arkansas' President, goes to an exemplary campaign that went above and beyond in its support; Dr. Houston Davis- University of Central Arkansas
  • Rookie of the Year: New campaign of the year with the highest participation; Insight 
  • Small Campaign of the Year: Given to the partner with less than 30 employees that demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the values and goals of the United Way of Central Arkansas during the campaign. Winner is based on the total percentage of employees giving to the campaign and a minimum of 5% increase in total dollar amount raised; Bank OZK
  • Mid-Sized Campaign of the Year:  Given to the partner with 30-99 employees that demonstrated exceptional leadership and commmitment to the values and goals of the United Way of Central Arkansas during the campaign Winner is based on the total percentage of employees giving to the campaign and a minimum of 5% increase in total dollar amount raised; Leather Brothers
  • Large Campaign of the Year:  Given to the Partner with more than 100 employees that demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the values and goals of the United Way of Central Arkansas during the campaign. Winner is based on the total percentage of employees giving to the campaign and a minimum of 5% increase in total dollar amount raised; Nabholz
  • Most Improved Campaign of the Year:  This award is given to the campaign partner that has shown the great overall improvement in conducting their employee campaign. In addition to having the greatest increase in the total amount of money raised for United Way of Central Arkansas, the campaign leaders demonstrated on exceptional commitment to encouraging employee participation all levels of giving; Arvest Bank
  • Volunteer of the Year:  It goes without saying that United Way of Central Arkansas could not do the work we do without volunteers. This year, the United Way of Central Arkansas would like to honor an individual for his commitment to outstanding volunteerism and making a difference for families living within our community. The Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes one outstanding volunteer for their valuable and selfless commitment to service, dedication, and contribution to the United Way of Central Arkansas, and the programs we serve: Rodney Todd
  • Legacy of Giving Award:  The Legacy of Giving Award is to recognize and emphasize a donor who represents the heart and soul of giving back to our community. This individual should show a commitment to the United Way of Central Arkansas and our mission, as well as demonstrate overall involvement and contribution to our community: Milton Davis
