The United Way of Central Arkansas hosted the 2015-2016 CEO Luncheon on September 15th, kicking off the upcoming and current campaigns benefitting United Way’s 23 partner agencies with 32 funded programs. These programs address a variety of topics within health, education, and/or income. Programs include helping with youth development, developmental delays, elderly, transitional housing, preschool readiness, and a wide range of others.
The following are the businesses within Faulkner and Perry County that were recognized: Community Partner with the biggest heart- Faulkner County Council on Aging, Business Partner with the biggest heart-Conway Corporation, Campaign Coordinator with the biggest heart- Julie Carmichael at Nabholz, Most Improved Campaign of the Year- Centennial Bank, Small Campaign of the year- Chamber of Commerce, Mid-Sized Campaign of the Year- Simmons First National Bank, Large Campaign of the Year - Nabholz Construction, School District with the Biggest Heart Award- Conway School District, College Campus with the Biggest Heart Award-Central Baptist College, President’s Award- Richie Arnold- Conway Corp., and Rookie of the Year-Bank of the Ozarks.
The goal for the 2015-2016 United Way campaign is $575,000.
