Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Faulkner County:  (501) 420-4638

SPSF of Faulkner Co. provides encouragement and financial support to vulnerable single parents who, while raising a family and often working one or two jobs, are also going to school to provide a better life for themselves and their family. Our mission is to enable single parents to become self-sufficient through post-secondary education. Our financial awards are unrestricted and are often used to offset everyday expenses that may prevent a student from completing their education, such as childcare, gas money, books, utility bills and rent.

The mission of Bethlehem House is to encourage, equip and motivate homeless, and nearly homeless, individuals and families to change their life situations.  With our motto of 'providing a hand up, not a hand out', we are in the business of helping people, help themselves. We provide shelter, transportation, food, clothing and most importantly - individual case management to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Our ultimate goal is to help people get back on their feet, support themselves and maintain a home.

Children's Advocacy Alliance: (501) 328-3347 

The Children’s Advocacy Alliance is an independent nonprofit serving Faulkner, Van Buren, Searcy, Pope and Conway counties.  Originally founded in 2000 as CASA of the 20th Judicial District, the Children’s Advocacy Alliance oversees both the Central Arkansas Children’s Advocacy Center and the CASA 20th Judicial District program.  The two programs work side by side to provide coordinated guidance, treatment and support for child victims of abuse and neglect, from the initial investigation of abuse to their placement in a safe, permanent home.  The Children’s Advocacy Alliance is a place for hope and a voice for justice.

We serve the children of Perry County. We are a Developmental Day Treatment Clinic Service (DDTCS) facility that works with children ranging from six weeks to five years of age. We offer a wide variety of services including: Developmental, Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapies, as well as providing nutrition and transportation. We strive to provide our clients and their families with tools tailored to meet their individual needs.

This agency offers an Early Childhood Program from 3-5 years of age and a Housing /Weatherization program. CAPCA receives funding from United Way to operate a Food Pantry, also emergency assistance such as hotel stay, and first months or past due rental or mortgage assistance. We also receive state funds to operate the Home Energy Assistance Program that we are currently operating now.

This agency is in place to provide free, quality extra-curricular activities for children with special needs and support for their families.  Our programs include football, soccer, theatre, dance, cheerleading, music, art, golf, and autism services.  We believe all children deserve the opportunity to participate in activities like sports and the arts.  We adapt our programs to meet the physical or mental needs of the children we serve.

Our service professionals are committed to helping youth in need through prevention and education, therapeutic foster care, day treatment, substance abuse services, mental health services and juvenile justice. We are a nonprofit organization serving at-risk youth.  The mission is to be a leader in providing quality services to youth and their families that will empower them to attain success in their homes, schools, and vocations.

This agency helps teens that become pregnant or have a child complete their education by supporting their academic and emotional needs as well as the developmental needs of their children. Conway Cradle Care is a non-profit childcare and outreach program to keep pregnant and parenting teens in school. Services are available to students enrolled in schools in Faulkner and Perry Counties. Services provided include childcare facility for infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks to 3 years old, one on one mentoring services, parent/life skill classes and parent luncheons.

The Faulkner County Council on Aging strives to identify and meet the social, nutrition and transportation needs of Senior Adults in Faulkner County.  Services we provide are Transportation, Congregate Meals, Meals on Wheels and Health and Wellness Activities.  Our goal is to help Seniors remain active, independent and to enhance their quality of life.

Milestones Services Inc: (501) 329-8102

Our mission is to enable individuals with developmental delays or developmental disabilities to achieve their maximum potential. Children who have delays are evaluated, and individualized plans are developed to help them gain skills.  In addition to teachers certified in Early Childhood Special Education, we have occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists and a nurse on staff to help these children overcome their challenges.  We also provide services to adults with developmental disabilities.  Training in daily living skills, such as money management, cooking, cleaning, etc. is also provided to enable these adults to live as independently as is possible
