DEI Statement:

The United Way of Central Arkansas prohibits discrimination and/or the exclusion of individuals from its facilities, programs, actvities, and services based on the individual person's race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, income status, sexual orientation or spoken language.

But that's just the beginning . . .

We acknowledge that racism exists - even within our own community. Now is the time for all of us to be aware of our words, our actions, and our motivations and to consider the potential impact upon others. There is no excuse for prejudice and cruelty.

The United Way of Central Arkansas condemns all forms of racism and discrimination. We seek diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within our own organization, as well as within that of our many partnerships. We define equity as the presence of justice and fairness within the procedures, processes and distribution of resources by institutions or systems. We are committed to creating and sustaining an environment of equality and dignity for all, and we stand with those who reject all forms of injustice.

The United Way of Central Arkansas works towards ending racism and initiating positive change by investing in organizations and programs that support the underrepresented of our community and contribute to a just and equitable society.
