DEI Statement

The United Way of Central Arkansas prohibits discriminations and/or the exclusion of individuals from its facilities, programs, activities, and services based on an individual's race color, national origin, sex, age disability, income status, sexual orientation, or spoken language.

But that is just the beginning-

We acknowledge that racism exists, even in our community. Now is the time for all of us to be aware of our words, actions, and motivations, and to consider the potential impact upon others. There is no excuse for prejudice and cruelty.

The United Way of Central Arkansas condemns all forms of racism and discrimination. We seek diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within our own organization; as well as within our partnerships in our community. We define equity as the presence of justice and fairness within the procedures, processes, and distribution of resources by institutions or systems. We are committed to creating and sustaining an environment of equality and dignity for all, and we stand with those who reject all forms of injustice.

The United Way of Central Arkansas works towards ending racism and initiating positive change by investing in organizations and programs that support the underrepresented of our community and contribute to a just and equitable society.
